Gerald J. Ford Stadium


Southern Methodist University is a private research university in Dallas, University Park, and Highland Park, TX. Founded in 1911 by the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, SMU operates satellite campuses in Plano, TX, and Taos, NM. SMU's athletics teams are known as the Mustangs and participate in the NCAA's Division I, with the football team competing as a member of Division I FBS. SMU is a member of the American Athletic Conference (The American) since 2013, when it left Conference USA (C-USA). The football team plays at Gerald J. Ford Stadium on the SMU campus, and the football program has also produced many professional football standouts.
