Missouri Southern State University, or MoSo for short, is located in Joplin, MO. The MoSo Lions are members of the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association competing as a Division II school in the NCAA. The Lions field seven men’s sports and seven women’s sports, and their program has had over 250 All-Americans since starting off as a member of the NAIA and becoming a member of the NCAA in 1989.
