Clemson University is the second-largest university in South Carolina. The university's 1,400-acre campus is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and sits adjacent to Lake Hartwell.
Clemson also manages the nearby 17,500-acre Clemson Experimental Forest, which is used for research, education, and recreation.
In addition to being the 2016 NCAA champion in football, Clemson offers over 16 intramural sports to all students, making their Shaw Sports Turf, Legion recreational field a highly active facility.
