Kent State University
Kent State University located in Kent, OH is home to the Kent State Golden Flashes Baseball team. The Golden Flashes compete at the Division I level in the NCAA and are members of the Mid-American Conference East Division. Kent State baseball was established in 1914 and is the second-oldest athletic team after basketball. They won their first Mid-American Conference title in 1964 and made their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Flashes have won 14 Mid-American Conference regular-season titles, 11 MAC Tournament titles, 12 MAC East Division titles, and have made 13 appearances in the NCAA Tournament. In 2012 the Golden Flash made their first appearance in the College World Series.
